My Recommend Japanese Gaming Store List

Neu

Japan’s two major cities, Tokyo and Osaka, are both great places if you want to try gaming gear in person. However, there’s a large number of stores and it can get quite confusing if it’s your first time in the area.

To help simplify things, I’ve gathered a list of stores that I highly recommend you visit if you’re ever nearby and want to demo some gear!

Osaka-Nipponbashi

Osaka Nippombashi used to primarily be an electronics district, but it’s now the center for gaming and other similar subcultures in Western Japan.

Out of all of the stores on this list, this is my top recommendation.

PC Ones easily boasts the best selection of gaming gear in Western Japan. If you’re ever in Osaka, I highly suggest that you stop by.

PC Ones supports cross-border e-commerce through their official online store as well, so you can order products even if you’re overseas. And of course, they have a fine selection of ARTISAN mousepads as well.

The selection of gaming gear at Tsukumo is very good as well. The customer service is excellent and I recommend visiting this place alongside PC Ones.

If you want to efficiently travel between Tokyo and Osaka, I recommend that you use the Tokaido Shinkansen.

If you’re going to travel to different parts of Japan in one visit, it would be a very good idea to purchase the JAPAN RAIL PASS, which is jointly offered by JR companies.

There are two types of passes. One for Green Cars and one for Standard Cars, and each can be purchased for 7-day, 14-day, or 21-day periods.

Note that when using the fastest trains “Nozomi” and “Mizuho” on the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen lines, you may need to have a special ticket that is exclusive to JAPAN RAIL PASS members.
