ご挨拶

　Gear MetriXの編集長を務めております「Neu」と申します。弊誌は、PC周辺機器の中でも「ゲーミングデバイス」に特化した情報を発信することを目的に、2024年9月に設立されました。メーカー様や代理店様のご協力のもと、PC周辺機器のレビューや、東京ゲームショウやゲーミングバザー、キーケットをはじめとするオフラインイベントでの取材を中心に活動しています。

　2025年現在、弊誌では設立当初からのゲーミングデバイスのレビューやニュースに加え、それらを好むM1層の関心が高い分野へと領域を広げています。具体的には、Eスポーツやイベント、オフィス向けPC周辺機器、スマートフォン、ガジェット、エナジードリンク、食品、嗜好品、各種サービスなどのニュースやレビューを提供しております。

　皆様のご支持とご協力のおかげで、2025年4月1日現在、月間平均PV60万、延べ350万PVを達成することができました。この場をお借りして、心より御礼申し上げます。

　私はゲーミングギア、PC周辺機器全般、スマートフォン、タブレット、そして関連するガジェット類への情熱を持っています。また、カレーライスの食べ歩きを日々楽しんでおり、食レポも得意としています。30年以上の関西在住経験を活かした関西弁講座も提供できます。

I am Neu, the Editor-in-Chief of Gear MetriX. Our magazine was established in September 2024 with the mission to provide specialized information about gaming devices within the PC peripherals sector. We conduct our activities primarily through PC peripheral reviews and coverage of offline events such as Tokyo Game Show, with the generous support of manufacturers and distributors.

As of 2025, in addition to our foundational coverage of gaming devices, we have expanded into areas of high interest to our core M1 demographic (males aged 20-34). This includes news and reviews of esports, events, office PC peripherals, smartphones, gadgets, energy drinks, food products, lifestyle goods, and various services.

Thanks to your continued support, we achieved an average of 100,000 monthly page views and a cumulative total of 1 million page views as of April 1, 2025. We extend our sincere gratitude for this milestone.

I am passionate about gaming gear, PC peripherals, smartphones, tablets, and related gadgets. I also enjoy exploring and reviewing curry restaurants, and can even offer Kansai dialect lessons drawing from my 30+ years of living in the Kansai region. ご挨拶

Gear MetriX(GMX)/GMX 2ndの副編集長をしております、Ernestと申します。　

2024年12月より弊誌で副編集長を務めております、20代後半の男です。担当はニュースとレビューの編集。

記者歴は8年(学生時代のバイト含め)、以前は築地の某全国紙で記者をしていました。

主にニュースやPRの方々との折衝、編集部の経費を私的に使い込むなどが私の役割です。

新卒は香港のエアラインでパイロット訓練生をしていたので、英語はそれなりにできます。関西弁は宝塚に住んでいたのでぼちぼち（要出典）

Hello there! I’m Ernest, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Gear MetriX (GMX)/GMX 2nd! Serving as the deputy editor since December 2024, I’m just your average late-twenties guy desperately trying to look younger than I am. My official duties include editing news and reviews, though my colleagues might tell you otherwise.

With 8 years of reporting experience (yes, I’m counting those college part-time gigs to pad my resume), I previously graced the halls of a national newspaper in Tsukiji. My primary responsibilities now include negotiating with news sources and PR folks, and my special talent: magically making the entire editorial department’s budget disappear!

My first post-graduation gig was actually flying planes for an airline in Hong Kong, so my English is… let’s say “adequate enough to order at Starbucks without embarrassment.” I can also speak Kansai dialect somewhat decently thanks to my time living in Takarazuka (citation desperately needed).
